Lipo has two plans, both billed monthly, and both starting with the same free trial. This page covers what each plan includes, how the trial works, and where to manage your subscription.

The plans

Same-language dictation is unlimited on both plans — the translation word limit only counts words that were actually translated. Pro Plus is for people who translate heavily or lean on Visual Brief.

The free trial

New accounts start a free 7-day Pro Plus trial with full access. No card is required, so nothing gets charged when the trial ends — you pick a plan on the website when you're ready to continue. The Account tab shows how many trial days you have left.

The Account tab

The Account tab shows who's signed in on this Mac, your plan, and your renewal or trial-end date. Two buttons handle everything else:

• Manage Account — update your name, email, or password on the account page in your browser.
• Manage Billing — switch plans, update your card, or cancel. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.

Subscription & usage

Settings → Subscription & usage shows your metered features at a glance: how many translated words and Visual Briefs you've used this billing period and how many remain. Both reset when your plan renews.

Signing in on another Mac

Your subscription is tied to your account, not your machine. Install Lipo on a new Mac, sign in with the same account, and your plan is active there. With Back up dictionary & settings on (Settings → Backup & Sync), your dictionary and preferences come back automatically too.

Frequently asked questions

What happens when my trial ends?

Nothing is charged — there's no card on file. To keep using Lipo, choose a plan on the pricing page with the same account you used in the app.

Can I switch between Pro Starter and Pro Plus?

Yes, anytime via Manage Billing in the app's Account tab (or Settings).

What happens if I hit a limit?

Dictation never stops — it's unlimited on both plans. If you use up Pro Starter's translated words, translation resumes next period (or upgrade for unlimited). If you use your Visual Briefs, they reset when the plan renews; re-running an analysis counts too.
