How it works

Three moves, and the text is already in place.

Lipo listens while you talk. When you finish, Lipo pastes the text into the app in front of you, right where your cursor is.

STEP 01

Put your cursor where you want the text

An email, a chat window, a document, a form, or a code editor. Anywhere you can type.

STEP 02

Press the shortcut key and speak

Press once to start, then talk at your normal speed. If you prefer, switch to Hold to talk and record only while the key is down.

STEP 03

Press the key again and read the result

Lipo cleans up the words and pastes them for you. You do not copy or paste anything yourself.

Modes

Decide how polished the text should be.

The same sentence can come out as a quick message or as a client email. You pick which one.

CasualFor chats, notes and quick thoughts. Fixes grammar and punctuation, keeps your own voice.
FormalFor emails, reports and work messages. Clear and professional, without sounding stiff.
Vibe CodingFor AI coding prompts. Keeps file names, commands and technical words exactly as you said them.

You can also set a mode for one app only. Mail can use Formal while Messages stays Casual.

Translation

Speak in one language, paste in another.

Choose the language you speak and the language Lipo should paste. Then choose when translation is on: keep it off, use it every time you dictate, or turn it on only when you press a second shortcut key.

It works between any two of the 50+ languages. You speak Bangla and Lipo writes English. You speak English and Lipo writes Spanish.

Yes. Your dictation history, screenshots, clipboard, and recordings stay on your Mac, and can be deleted automatically after a time you choose.

When you use dictation, cleanup, or Visual Brief, only what is needed is sent to trusted partners to complete that request. Lipo and those partners do not sell your content or use it to train AI models.
